西日本被災地のみなさん、大変な状況が続いていると思いますが、どうかご無事でいてください。
救援、復旧作業をされている方、くれぐれも安全を確保して作業をなさってください。
西日本豪雨で犠牲となられた方々、ご家族ご友人をなくされた方々、被災者の方々のため、心から祈り続けています、、、。
今も行方不明の方がたくさんいらっしゃり、新たな被害もあり、あまりに胸が痛く、、、
これ以上の被害が出ないよう、一刻も早く行方不明者が救出され、被災者の救援が進むよう、ニューヨークから祈り続けています。
On July 5th, the heaviest record rain started in western Japan and continued for 4 days, caused floods and landslides, and had to face the heartbreak tragedy…. My hometown is in Hiroshima, it is one of the most devastated prefecture, and my parents are there but fortunately, they survived. Many friends and people concerned and sent me the warm messages… I can’t thank enough… thank you so much. I’m deeply grateful.
私の実家も広島県福山市の芦田川のそばで、6日から緊急避難警報が続き、途中連絡が途絶えましたが、なんとか両親は無事でした。たくさんの方々が心配してくださり本当に心強く、感謝の気持ちでいっぱです。
声をかけてくださることがどれほど励みになったか。
両親にも伝えたら”どうか皆さんに感謝を伝えてほしい”と。
本当にありがとうございました。
As of today July 11, 2018, so many people are still missing… so many people are evacuated… under the most difficult situation, difficult to get water, food, on top of the heatwave attacking western Japan. They need help.
13府県にも及ぶ被害は甚大で、広島県だけでなく、すぐ隣の倉敷も、愛媛も含め、各地で大変な状況が続いています。断水による水不足、停電、道路寸断、配送困難による食料不足、猛暑が続く中、救援が困難を極め、たくさんの方々が支援を必要とされています。
It will take a long time to recover the whole area...
さらに壊滅的な街の復旧には相当な時間がかかるということ、、、。
ニューヨークからも引き続き、募金など含め、できる限りの支援をしたいと思います。
そしてどうか、一緒に支援していただけたら幸いです。
