“Eternity” is the much-awaited new release from singer, songwriter and producer AK, a collaboration with talented sound creator TsuruSwing. Lush and emotive, “Eternity” sees AK’s heartfelt lyrics soaring over a sophisticated TsuruSwing house groove that propels the song, energetically supporting the expressive vocal.
“Eternity” is the latest collaboration between the two talents, coming after recent TsuruSwing mixes of AK’s singles “Sign of Love” and “Beautiful You.” The duo are well-matched musically, with AK’s extensive track record of writing lyrics and melodies in a wide range of styles—her prolific output has successfully spanned R&B, pop and house—pairing perfectly with TsuruSwing’s warm and evocative production. Together, their synergy has borne a result combining inspirational lyrics and production that matches emotion and drama with the immersive atmosphere and danceable rhythm that defines the best modern house.
An accomplished artist, Akemi Kakihara (AK) has released fifteen albums and notched multiple hits in her native Japan, both for herself and with other artists she’s written for. While Toshiyuki Tsuruha (TsuruSwing) has lent his talents to a diverse array of projects, he’s always remained grounded in emotive house music.
